Patric Deflorin to become new Head of Direct & Distribution Partners at Zurich Switzerland
Zurich, Juli 16, 2008 - Zurich Switzerland appoints Patric Deflorin as new Head of Direct & Distribution Partners. He succeeds Yvonne Lang Ketterer with effect from August 1, 2008, following her appointment as the new CEO of Zurich Life Switzerland last month. In his new role, Patric Deflorin will become a member of the Executive Management Board of Zurich Switzerland.
Patric Deflorin (36) has worked for Zurich for eight years. He began as Head of Organizational Development for Global Corporate before switching to Finance Europe General Insurance (EGI). In his last role, he was Chief Financial Officer of Direct and Partnership EGI. In this position, he made a major contribution to the development of the direct business in Europe and the financial positions in this area. As Head of Direct & Distribution Partners Zurich Switzerland he is responsible for both Zurich Connect in Switzerland and business with Swiss distribution partners.
