Senior Open in Ragaz
The second most important PGA event in Switzerland, the Bad Ragaz Seniors Open, which draws many top players, is another highlight on the Swiss golfing calendar. The best seniors in the golf scene compete on the breathtaking 18-hole course 520 meters above sea level. Zurich is proud to be a co-sponsor of the next tournament.

Martin Rominger
Martin Rominger, the most famous Swiss golf pro, was able to compete again at the Zurich Classics PGA tournament in New Orleans from April 16-22, 2007 thanks to a wildcard entry. In 2006 Mr. Rominger was the first Swiss golf pro to compete at the Zurich Classics thanks to the support of Zurich. Zurich is the title sponsor of the PGA golf tournament in New Orleans whose proceeds go to benefit the Fore!Kids Foundation, a local organization. In 2006 the Zurich Classics was one of the first sports events to take place in New Orleans after hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The tournament brought in an estimated USD 25 m, which helped the city.
